This collection of prints are a result of some unique
printing methods using oil paints and wet clay.
Liz has been refining these techniques to develop
her own form of printmaking. She was studying a ceramics/mixed
media 3D design course at Middlesex University when
she struck upon a way of combining the different aspects
of her artistic skills to translate three dimensions
into two.
The inspiration for most of Liz's work comes from
her fascination with the relationships between colours
and textures of almost everything that surrounds her.
Through photography, Liz has been able to capture
and document those colours and textures that interest
and inspire her.
Over the last few years Liz has been developing and
refining different techniques, exploring new mediums
such as glass and silk, and generally looking for
new directions in which to take her work.
